Did y'all know the Vatican announced 7 new deadly sins?!
I'm sure some might consider this inappropriate. I don't really intend to mock the Catholic Church, and without analyzing myself too much, I'm guessing I probably agree with most of these new sins...but I thought this particular article was pretty funny.
Dern it, I guess I'd better put a stop my job hunt as to avoid becoming obscenely wealthy. I'd hate for that to be my downfall!
Don't do drugs, kids. Not even a little. And don't envy those who do.The Vatican has reportedly trumpeted some 21st Century sins that reflect the more complicated moral landscape we all have to navigate.
No longer is it enough to avoid sloth, but now we have to go green, since polluting the environment is one of the "new" deadly sins. Exxon Mobil, it would seem, is doubly cursed since it is raked in insane profits (a new no-no) all the while fueling global warming.
Genetic modification is also on the list, which should bring hellfire raining down on Monsanto and most of the Midwest, where all those corn and soy seeds are planted.
All joking aside (whew! joking ain't deadly, and neither is bad grammar) here are the deadliest sins, both old and new:

As I type this, I've got an 8th new one...or rather a 15th to add to the list. Thou shalt not make thy wife go to the boycotted UPS store to ship "thou's" eBay sale. Boo BJ!

Thanks for keeping me abreast of goings on in this world. I don't think I would have heard about new "Sins" otherwise. I would say that United States Postal Service is not much better. We took a letter to the PO on Saturday morn. The letter absloutely, positively had to be there Monday. Just under $20 for them to deliver it on WEDNESDAY. Oh, we will give your $ back!! Sorry, the penalties were more than that.

and do you mean serving your husband a menu at that particular evening's restaurant?? also not one of the 7 deadly sins...or one of the 10.
