How great were our costumes?!Just kidding! I spent the day at the zoo with our friends, Allison and Eli. It was the most perfect day! Note to self: go to the zoo when the weather is cooler so the animals are out playing around instead of hiding in the shade.I think Al and I were most impressed when Eli spotted this guy... ...just milling around checking things out. This deer wasn't part of an exhibit or anything, just hanging out and Eli apparently has a keen eye that would make his hunting Papa proud!As far as traditional Halloween plans go...we punked out. No particular reason to be scrooges but we still sat in the dark, hiding from all the kiddies that wanted candy!
